Stainless steel characteristics

The stainless steel is 2.5mm thick, which shows distinctive quality. The heavy-gauge steel offers excellent durability, as well as a high polish finish that looks excellent on your dining table.

French design

The first Laguiole knife was designed by Jean-Pierre Calmels in 1829 in southern France. The bee symbol emerged as a trademark for the cutlery, and it's incorporated into each piece to show its quality.

The Linéaire range of Laguiole by Louis Thiers follows the tradition of superior quality and artisanship and features elegant straight handles, with the exception of the curved-handled steak knives. Each piece is decorated with the famous Laguiole bee insignia, which is displayed on the bolster of the steak knives and embossed above the bolster on all other pieces.

  • Care: Most ABS handles are dishwasher safe, but care should be taken not to use abrasive or citrus based dishwashing powders or liquids as these may dull the bright colours. Also avoid using the intensive and pot cycle (hottest) of the dishwasher.
